India's culture being one of the oldest and unique has an amazing cultural diversity throughout the country. A travel to the South, North, and Northeast one will come across each region having their own distinct cultures. Today, every state has carved for itself one's own cultural niche. India is a vast country, with a variety of geographical features and climatic conditions. Moreover, there is hardly any culture in the world that is as varied and unique as India culture.

Indian culture treats its guests as god and serves them and takes care of them as if they are a part and parcel of their family. Elders and the respect for elders is a major aspect in Indian culture. Elders are the driving force for any family and hence the love and respect for elders comes from within and is not just made up. An individual takes blessings from his elders by touching their feet.
