Located just 15 kilometers from Jaipur, Gaitor is a historical place, popular for the cenotaphs or chhatris of Jaipur rulers. The cenotaph of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, a white marble structure, is the finest tourist spot of Jaipur. You can reach the exotic Garh Ganesh temple, by a series of paved steps of abnormal height made in the body of fortification outside the gate. At the corner and entrance from front side of the gate, stands a small temple of Ganesh containing of only a sanctum and a doorway, the former being bounded by a pyramidal roof and later by the squat dome.

Sanganer, located 16 Kms from Jaipur, exhibits some exquisite Jain temples. Moreover, being an important centre for crafts and hand-printed textiles, it has become famous around the world. The attractions of Sanganer are its block printing and paper making industries. Printing is an elaborate process; each yard of printed fabric may need up to 30 separate blocks and up to 350 separate impressions. Patterns mainly depict flowers, Gods, elephants, camels, birds and dolls as well as geometric designs. Truly said, Sanganer is a shopper's paradise.

Samode was considered as one of the princley Thikanas of Jaipur. It was built in the late 19th century. The walls of Rang Mahal were exquisitely embellished with mirror-work, painted motifs and gold leaves. The Sheesh Mahal was inlaid with glass and mirror-work with painted friezes of hunting and durbar scenes. For the first half of its existence, Samode Palace was a little more than a fortified stronghold in the rugged Rajput tradition. Samode Palace was transformed into one the country's premium palace hotels in 1987, and is a perfect example of Rajput-Mughul architecture.
